Progressives turn focus to November
Congratulations are in order for six progressive candidates who won their primary elections on August 5th: Sarah Roberts, Lesia Liss, Lisa Brown, Michael J Thorp, Kate Segal, and Garnet Lewis. Well done!
These candidates exemplify the kind of leaders we need in Lansing – leaders who will be accountable to Michiganders, not special interests. They’re candidates with strong progressive values who will work to move Michigan forward.
When you support the Coalition for Progress, you help support good candidates like these six, and make sure we have the kind of leaders we deserve in Lansing.
There’s still one more hurdle to cross before these candidates can go to work in Lansing: the general election on November 4th. We know that it’ll take all of us working together and voting to elect these candidates and other progressives across Michigan. Thank you for your support, and thanks for voting!
